🌈 What is PrideCamp?

 Pride Camp is a week-long, overnight summer camp dedicated to LGBTQ+ teens and their allies aged 13-18. We provide a safe, affirming, and radically fun environment where you can connect with peers, explore your identity, build leadership skills, and celebrate the beautiful spectrum of who you are—all without the pressure of the outside world.

Our Mission: To empower the next generation of queer leaders by fostering community, encouraging self-discovery, and celebrating every unique color in the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

🌟 Your Week at a Glance

We blend the best of traditional summer camp with targeted workshops designed for empowerment and connection.

• Community & Connection: Build genuine, lifelong friendships and a strong support network. We enforce a strict anti-bullying and affirmation policy to ensure a truly brave space for everyone.

• Identity Exploration: Engage in workshops focused on queer history, intersectionality, trans/non-binary affirmation, and healthy relationships.

• Creative Expression: Participate in fun activities like Drag & Makeup Workshops, Queer Poetry Jams, and Pride Flag Making.

• Celebration: Get ready for the Rainbow Ball (Camp Dance), our exciting Prism Parade, talent shows, and cozy nightly campfires.

• Traditional Camp Fun: Enjoy classic camp activities like archery, canoeing, swimming, and nature hikes.

We prioritize the safety and comfort of every camper.

• Gender-Affirming Housing: Cabins are assigned based on age and choice, with a commitment to respecting all gender identities and expressions.

• All-Gender Facilities: Clearly marked and accessible bathrooms and changing spaces.

• Trained Staff: Our counselors and directors are experienced youth workers, many of whom are members of the LGBTQ+ community, and all receive extensive training in gender diversity, mental health support, and crisis intervention.

• Unplugged Policy: We encourage authentic connection by keeping electronics in a secure, central location. Focus on the moment, not the screen!
